Since we've been using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro a lot my teacher thought it was a good idea to also
get back to Adobe Animate. I was lucky since my Adobe was already updated to two 2020 version, which is now
way better to understand Adobe Animate.
So when I was trying exercise walkcycle (which is down here), which our teacher gave us with the assets and
videos, I could see that
my entire interface was different, more accessible.
So for my own walkcycle I wanted to make a toddler. And since toddlers have tantrums I thought it'd be funny to
make a angry toddler that just got a tantrum. I don't know why but it completely didn't occur to me too check
real life toddlers having tantrums. I straight up went and searched for animated toddlers.
One of the most famous animated toddlers is Jack-jack from Incredibles. I decided too use his body as a
reference in making my own toddler.
I then made in Adobe Illustrator my own toddler sketch. The left, down here, shows the many layers I used, with
each a different colour.
The right one is the final one where I coloured the toddler in.
I then hopped into Adobe Animate and, just like my teacher told me with the practise walkcycle, go step by step.
I started with the feet and went my way up to his face.
Down here two w.i.ps from my walkcycle made in Adobe Animate.
In my "Spark" page I'll talk with more detail about the project + another variation I did.
In "All of them" you'll go to my Youtube channel and see the final version of my practise girl, angry toddler
and some other variations.
In "Playlist" you're also going to my Youtube channel and will be in a Playlist that's all about these
walkcycles.
